• A tabloid story says Sonam Kapoor threw a tantrum at a promotional TV program. Sonam says that it’s true that she re-shot one portion of one of her promotional programs on Channel V. But, there was no starry tantrum. She was very apologetic for that.

  She further tried to explain that she has been tutored in the Sanjay Bhansali School of filmmaking. Over there, they were taught to strive for the best, irrespective of the type of medium. For her, a TV show isn't a casual thing. So, after shooting the whole day she opted for the re-shot for 15 minutes. This should not create a big issue like it is being portrayed.

• India's two biggest passions - cricket and Hindi cinema - swayed at a party co-hosted by BCCI at a city hotel.

  The party was attended by Indian and Australian cricketers along with the cast of 'Saawariya', including Sonam Kapoor. The actors congratulated the Australian team, which won the seven-match one-day series against India, by presenting them with stylish leather jackets. Yuvraj Singh and Ricky Ponting also picked the winner of the 'India's Greatest Cricket Fan Contest'.
